Kids First primary focus is providing sports equipment and shoes to homeless children in the Albuquerque area. We are committed to helping children experience life to the fullest and feel that financial insecurity should not be a barrier to a child's opportunity to play, have fun and thrive in our community.

Our amazing team of volunteers works tirelessly with the APS Title 1 Homeless Project and we partner with a variety of businesses and individuals around the ABQ area. Only through the dedication of these incredible people are we be able to achieve our goal of helping our kids play.

Our story starts in August of 2012. New Mexico Sports Inc, a magazine with sports as human interest stories, transformed into a nonprofit organization. Seeing a need for energetic, nonprofit work in this area, we switched our focus and formed a partnership with APS Title 1 Homeless Project,
